Saxophone  talents  Kumari M.S.LAVANYA  &  M.S.SUBBALAXMI  are the daughters of  Smt. Girija Sainath  and Mridhangam Maestro Sri. M.R. Sainath- Staff artist, All India Radio, Mangalore.

Since their childhood, loving the music deeply, at the age of six they started learning vocal music under Sangeetha vidushi Smt. Nagaveni of Mangalore.
At the age of 15, they started learning Saxophone from  “PADMASHRI” Dr. KADRI GOPALNATH. And continued higher training at Chennai where Sri KADRI GOPALNATH stayed. Currently they are learning their vocal music under the guidance of ‘’KALAIMAMANI’’ Sri .SRIMUSHNAM  RAJA RAO Sir and Smt. PADMA CHANDILYAN.
